Tainan Mango Expands to Malaysia Supermarkets Following Success in Singapore

Reported about 1 year ago

Tainan mangoes have made their way to Malaysia after successfully entering the Singapore market. Known for their rich aroma, high sweetness, lack of fiber, and chewy texture, Taiwan's mangoes have gained international acclaim. Tainan, the largest mango-producing region in Taiwan, offers a variety of mango cultivars. Following positive reception in Malaysia with overwhelming tastings and purchases, Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che, Taiwanese representatives, and Natural House Taiwan & Japan Chairman Chen Chun-hsiung held a Tainan Mango Showcase event in Malaysia, showcasing the popular 'Taiwanese Mango Ice' alongside Malaysia's colorful snow ice. This successful promotion attracted the attention of Malaysian media and influencers, sparking a buying frenzy in local supermarkets. Natural House Taiwan & Japan facilitated mango tasting events in two Aeon supermarkets and offered online ordering services, enhancing the demand for Tainan mangoes in Malaysia.
