Tainan to Eliminate Mandatory Two-Part Left Turns for Motorcycles by Late August

Reported 5 months ago

Tainan's traffic bureau has announced an early implementation of its plan to allow motorcycles on one-way, two-lane roads to make direct left turns without the need for a two-part maneuver, originally set for the end of the year. Starting from late August, 36 additional routes will be opened, following successful trials on existing roads that showed no increase in accidents and even traffic flow improvements. This decision aims to enhance road safety and reduce commuting times for motorcycle riders.
