In an effort to attract foreign tourists, Taipei 101 collaborated with Pingtung County to bring the Jhueilan Flower Sea from the southern coast to the 89th floor, along with introducing Hello Kitty Apple Village pop-up store, Mei Li Hong Kong-style tea stall, and Rui Rui Food Research Institute's trendy foods. According to Taipei 101's statistics, the number of visitors to the observation deck increased by over 30% in the first half of the year, reaching 85% of pre-pandemic levels, with a significant number of Korean tourists. Taipei 101's shopping center also saw steady growth in the first half of the year, with a notable increase in non-boutique businesses due to a surge in tourist visits. The landmark attraction is collaborating with various city governments this summer to promote Taiwan's attractions and specialties, aiming to make Taipei 101 a starting point for tourists to explore all of Taiwan.
