There are hopes for Jay Chou and Mayday to perform at the Taipei Arena as discussions were held at the Taipei City Council regarding the possibility of concerts being held there. However, no conclusion was reached on which artist will be the first to perform. The main point of contention lies in safety concerns and regulations surrounding the organization of large events at the venue, making it uncertain when concerts can actually take place. Taipei Mayor also expressed the city's inclination towards allowing large-scale events, including concerts, to be held at the arena. Attempts will be made to reach a consensus through further discussions and proposals among council members.
