In an exclusive report on June 26, 2024, at 11:40 PM, Taipei City's Traffic Adjudication Office announced the names of 28 repeat offenders of drunk driving, including 22 with 2 offenses, 3 with 3 offenses, 1 with 4 offenses, 1 with 2 refusals of testing, and 1 with 3 refusals of testing. Among the offenders, the highest fine was for Lu Yifeng, who received a fine of 540,000 NT dollars for the 3rd refusal to test. So far, Taipei City has publicly disclosed 1,145 cases (1,092 individuals) of drunk driving incidents. The office reminds the public of the severe penalties and consequences for drunk driving offenses.
