In response to Taipei City Council's consultation on holding concerts at the Taipei Dome, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an thanked Speaker of the Council Dai Hsi-chin for helping facilitate communication and coordination between the city government and various party factions, to face the restrictions that have bound the Taipei Dome in the past. Chiang expressed a positive view towards hosting non-sporting events, including concerts, at the Dome and hopes to move in the direction of holding large events, such as concerts, that are eagerly anticipated by citizens.
