The Taipei City Council's 'Jinghua City Volume Violation Case Special Investigation Team' has concluded its interviews and is considering sending the content to the ethics office or the Control Yuan for review. Preliminary findings suggest that the case should be referred to the Ethics Office, as there are concerns regarding financial flows and quid pro quo relationships. The team recommends that the city government directly involve the Ethics Office and judiciary for further investigation, with responsibilities of former Mayor Ko Wen-je and former Deputy Mayor Peng Chien-sheng to be addressed once the final report is released.
