Taipei City Government Calls for Training 308 Reserve Forces to Strengthen Medical Emergency Preparedness

On June 19, 2024, the Taipei City Government initiated a 3-day reserve force training involving 308 male reservists from 13 districts. The training focused on EMT-1 primary medical aid education and national defense education to ensure readiness in medical emergency and national security. This training aims to bolster the city's capacity for wartime disaster relief and emergency medical support, aligning with the adjustment of national defense manpower at the end of 111. The participants engaged in practical exercises on respiratory tract management and oxygen therapy, as well as learning essential emergency medical and rescue techniques to become indispensable rescue forces.
