On June 29, 2024, in Taipei, a 40-year-old man named Huang was struck on the left upper arm by a 90-centimeter steel reinforcement bar falling from the sky while riding a motorcycle with his wife on Linsen North Road. The man suffered a torn wound, but fortunately, he was treated without major complications. Despite initial denials from the construction company, Taipei City's Construction Management Office imposed a fine of 90,000 and ordered a temporary construction halt. Authorities are investigating the incident and reviewing surveillance footage to determine the cause of the accident.
