Taipei City Search and Rescue Team Conducts International Humanitarian Rescue Mobilization Test Drill with 68 Personnel and 3 Dogs Practicing Disaster Prevention

On July 4, 2024, Taipei City Fire Department mobilized 68 personnel and 3 dogs for a joint drill to enhance the familiarity of mobilization and strengthen lateral communication efficiency with external units in order to promptly assemble and rescue people affected by domestic and international disasters. The drill included scenarios such as disaster reporting, lateral communication with external units, personnel assembly, check-in procedures during assembly, individual equipment and health checks, disaster information collection, and briefings. This mobilization involved police and fire personnel, Taipei City Volunteer Special Search and Rescue Team, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taipei Municipal United Hospital, Taipei Structural Engineering Industrial Technician Association, and Taiwan Search Dog Association, totaling 68 personnel and 3 dogs.
