Reported 12 months ago

CTWANT magazine reported that Taipei City University plans to establish a 'Long-Term Care Cultivation Program' in response to the increasing demand for long-term care professionals due to aging population. The program aims to enroll at least 30 students annually to alleviate the shortage of long-term care personnel. This initiative is part of Chiang Wan-an's strategy to address the difficulties in nursing recruitment faced since he assumed office as mayor, with the shift in focus towards the city-run university for talent cultivation.
