In Taipei, a man surnamed Chen purchased a used smartphone online for 2000 NT dollars but never received the item. He transferred the money to the accounts of internet celebrity Chen Yi's company 'Happy Champion' and group buyer 'Doctor Ma' as instructed, leading to accusations of fraud. Chen Yi denied involvement, claiming the company had many financial transactions and was unaware of this particular payment. Taipei prosecutors decided not to prosecute Chen Yi. Chen Yi then countersued Chen for false accusation, with both parties ultimately not being prosecuted. Insufficient evidence led to the man being acquitted in the end.
