During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, various neighborhoods in the Da'an district of Taipei held celebratory events to promote community cohesion. The Da'an Police Station deployed anti-fraud advocacy groups to educate residents on recognizing and preventing scams, focusing on investment scams, pet voting scams, and fake buyer scams. They also emphasized traffic safety, urging people to be vigilant at intersections and follow proper road etiquette to prevent accidents. The police reminded the public to verify suspicious calls, follow the 'listen, hang up, verify' anti-fraud steps, and contact the 165 anti-fraud hotline for inquiries to avoid falling victim to scams.
