Taipei City Council will hold a 'political party consultation' to resolve the issue of whether concerts can be held at the Taipei Dome. Taipei City Councilor Chen Yi-Chun expressed dissatisfaction with the process, criticizing Mayor Chiang Wan-an for allegedly disregarding the council and its members. Chen questioned the city government's commitment to public safety at the Dome, stating that the decision-making process seemed like a behind-closed-doors operation instead of a transparent discussion. She called for the city government to provide a clear plan for the Dome's usage and emphasized the importance of not only relying on political party consultations. This decision comes after Taipei City Council Chairman Dai Hsi-chin announced a political party consultation to discuss the key terms related to holding concerts at the Dome.
