In Taichung, a 63-year-old woman surnamed Li randomly attacked a female university student, around 21 years old, with 7 hard slaps and pulling her hair when getting off a bus in Dali District. Fortunately, brave onlookers, including an elementary student and a long-haired man, intervened and separated the woman. Despite the police's arrival, the woman remained agitated, resisting and hitting officers before being restrained and taken to the hospital. The assaulted student described the sudden attack as terrifying and praised her classmates for their help, providing crucial evidence for reporting the incident. The police are monitoring the woman's residence to prevent any further attacks, while she remains hospitalized for observation.
