At the 26th Taipei Film Awards, Ethan Juan won Best Actor for '周處除三害,' with judges praising his performance and dedication. Lee Ming-Chung, nominated for both '（真）新的一天' and '少男少女,' did not win, as he was edged out by Ethan Juan and Li Li Ren. The judges also praised another competitor for Best Actor, Bai Runyin. Lin Pintong won Best Actress, and Chen Yihan narrowly beat Liu Yier for Best Supporting Actress. The judging process took 8.5 hours, with the judges highly concurring on most awards, including '老狐狸' winning Best Styling Design.
