Mayor Lu Shiow-yen made a surprise appearance as Super Mario in the promotional video, offering prizes like a 43-inch LCD TV and tickets to Osaka for viewers. With a focus on animated films loved by families, the event promises interactive experiences and prizes, encouraging citizens to enjoy movies together and win rewards. The event is free to enter, with special surprises for attendees and collaboration with the local labor department to provide free massages at select screenings for a charitable element. Continuing the film season momentum is the Golden Horse Classic Film Exhibition and the Taipei International Animation Festival later in the year, aiming to enrich citizens' cinematic experiences and create a unique movie-watching atmosphere in Taipei.
