As of July 5, 2024, Taipei currently has 21 locations equipped with technology for intersection enforcement, which has shown significant effectiveness in preventing traffic accidents. The Taipei City Government Police Traffic Division reported a 31.07% reduction in accidents and a 30.16% decrease in fatalities compared to the same period last year. The enforcement activities result in a decrease in violations by 38.29% and accidents by 31.07%. With the increase in public compliance awareness, accidents have been effectively reduced, ensuring public safety. Additionally, 20 more intersections have been identified for technology enforcement to enhance traffic safety measures.
