FTNN News reported that following the major fire at the Lin Sen branch of Money Chest KTV in Taipei in April 2020 which resulted in 6 deaths and 72 injuries, the prosecution filed charges against Money Chest chairman Lin Tai-sheng and 6 others. After over 3 years of trial, the Taipei District Court acquitted Lin Tai-sheng and 2 others last month, with the prosecution now appealing the decision citing contradictions and errors. The case involved various charges including violations of fire safety laws and involuntary manslaughter, leading to varying sentences for the individuals involved.
