In Taipei's Wanhua District, a dispute over an unreturned phone led a man named Chen to fire a riot gun from his home's window at Lee, fortunately missing. Chen was fined NT$5,000 by the Taipei District Court for violating the Social Order Maintenance Act. Police confiscated two riot guns and a steel ball, and urged the public to refrain from resorting to unlawful actions during conflicts and to report incidents to 110 for police intervention to avoid criminal liability.
