In celebration of the centenary of the founding of the Huangpu Military Academy, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an emphasized the significance of Huangpu in relation to the Republic of China (ROC). He expressed this sentiment at the 'Spirit of the Era of Huangpu's Military Foundation Exhibition,' co-organized by former National Taiwan University President Kuan Chung-ming. Chiang Wan-an praised the Huangpu spirit of sacrifice, unity, and responsibility, highlighting its role in defending the ROC, safeguarding democracy and freedom, and nurturing military talent. The exhibit, held from June 16 to August 31 at Taipei City Hall, aims to educate the public on the historical importance of the Huangpu military establishment and pivotal moments in modern ROC history.
