Taipei Mayor Jiang Wan-an responded to the future use of a funeral parlor, stating that the site will be used as a parking lot and green space for now, with long-term plans for a 'long-term care medical zone, mixed public-private office space, sports center, and social housing.' The area will undergo evaluations to contribute to Taipei's overall long-term development, considering the city's aging population and care needs. Feedback and local demands are being collected for integration and planning, along with the possibility of acquiring nearby private land. After completion of the funeral parlor's phase two project, the total number of halls increased to 28 with 1314 refrigeration compartments, ensuring sufficient capacity.
