After Taipei Dome's Facebook page replied 'I'm also free' to Jay Chou hinting at a concert in August, Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je was asked about the first song he would like to hear at Taipei Dome, to which he belted out Jay Chou's 'Love Confession.' Taipei City Council has approved plans for concerts at Taipei Dome, with Ko Wen-je stating they will abide by the decision and swiftly work towards holding events. Ko expressed gratitude towards Jay Chou for expressing interest in performing at Taipei Dome and welcomed all artists who wish to perform there, pending successful arrangements. Furthermore, Ko dismissed the notion of the Dome's first song being 'Sound of Rain' due to leakage issues, instead choosing 'Love Confession' by Jay Chou.
