In Taipei, a 25-year-old woman surnamed Lin sat in a priority seat on the MRT due to discomfort, but was pressured by two elderly passengers to give up her seat. This resulted in a physical altercation where Lin, seemingly emotionally overwhelmed, hit her head on a pillar causing profuse bleeding, shocking other passengers on the train. The incident occurred at Beitou Fuxinggang Station on the Tamsui Line. Authorities intervened to mediate the situation and both parties agreed not to press charges after emotions cooled down.
