Taipei National University of the Arts President Chen Kai-huang is under attack by former presidents and students for sharing his luxurious office, with accusations of awarding contracts to his son, possibly violating the 'Conflict of Interest Avoidance Law for Public Servants.' The university has reported the incident to the Control Yuan, and the Ministry of Education has requested information and will send personnel for an administrative investigation. The controversy arose from an interview in 'VERSE' magazine, where details about the president's office were disclosed. Former president Yang Chi-wen claimed that Chen Kai-huang awarded contracts to his son Chen Xi-ren, prompting the university to proactively report to the Control Yuan. The Ministry of Education will further investigate with implications of violating the law, independent of the university's actions.
