Chen Kai-huang, the president of Taipei National University of the Arts, has recently faced controversies for allowing his son to contract a school project, which is suspected to violate laws. The university has reported this to the Control Yuan, and the Ministry of Education has initiated a political investigation. The issue arose when former president of the university, Yang Chi-wen, publicly questioned Chen for assigning the project to his son, Chen Hsi-jen, leading to further scrutiny. The Ministry of Education has stated that they will continue to monitor the situation and handle it according to the law to safeguard public interest and the school's reputation.
