Taipei Pet Store Owner Found Dead Inside Shop, Daughter Responds to 2nd Floor Renovation Dispute

Reported 12 months ago

A pet store in Neihu, Taipei, spent over 4 million renovating but couldn't open due to the inability to contact the 2nd floor owner or apply for a license. The store owner, under economic pressure, was found dead on the 26th. Disputes arose about the renovation project, with the daughter clarifying two separate projects existed. The 2nd floor owner denied agreeing to any renovation or repair on the balcony and had completed an external wall waterproofing project costing 115,000 NT$. The renovation team decided to take legal action against false comments. It was clarified that the store owner's 100,000 NT$ payment was for repairing the 2nd floor balcony, not related to the external wall waterproofing.
