In a recent police operation on Guangfu South Road in Taipei, an illegal gambling den allegedly supported by the boyfriend of influencer Dime Mei and renowned poker player 'I.C Charlie Charley' was raided. 24 individuals were brought in for investigation under charges of gambling offenses. While rumors linked influencer 'Chao-Ge' to the scene, both Chao-Ge and I.C Charlie Charley denied any involvement in funding the illicit establishment. The police action was triggered by reports of an illegal Texas poker gambling venue exploiting poker association memberships to conduct cash exchanges post games, netting over NT$630,000 in cash and other evidence. Dime Mei and I.C Charlie Charley emphasized their lack of connection to the operation on social media, with I.C Charlie Charley clarifying his only role was in producing poker show broadcasts with no financial gain. Dime Mei similarly distanced herself from the incident, claiming no involvement in illegal gambling activities.
