Taipei City Da-Tong Police Bureau suddenly raided their own preparedness team yesterday morning after receiving information that 44-year-old Officer Li is suspected of leaking personal data to his girlfriend Wu. Following an investigation under the command of Taipei Prosecutors Office, Li and Wu were interrogated, but the questioning was paused at night and resumed the next morning, with both later being transferred for further questioning. It is alleged that Li, a married officer, and Wu, who previously held Vietnamese nationality and currently operates a health center in Wanhua, may be involved in online gambling. Li is suspected of leaking criminal system information to assist Wu in personal data inquiries, potentially violating data protection laws and may face charges related to facilitating prostitution, gambling, and corruption. The case continues to be investigated by authorities.
