Taipei City police have recently cracked down on underground casinos, uncovering two large-scale operations in commercial buildings in Songshan. More than 50 individuals, including dealers and players, were apprehended, with over 35 million chips and cash seized. Those involved were fined under gambling laws and social order regulations. The operators and participants of the casinos are facing legal consequences following police investigations and charges at the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office.
