Taipower successfully restored power by 12:26 AM. Legislator You Shuhui expressed concerns about Taiwan's energy policy and emphasized the importance of stable power supply for technology industries in Neihu. The outage was attributed to a faulty underground cable joint which was promptly replaced by Taipower.
