On June 17, 2024, around 11:45 PM, there was a power outage affecting 655 households in Neihu, Taipei, due to a feeder line trip, caused by 'faulty underground cables.' Taipower successfully restored power by 12:26 AM. Legislator You Shuhui expressed concerns about Taiwan's energy policy and emphasized the importance of stable power supply for technology industries in Neihu. The outage was attributed to a faulty underground cable joint which was promptly replaced by Taipower.
