In a rare large-scale personnel reshuffle within the Correctional Agency, Taipei Prison's chief official, known as the 'top prison in the country,' will be handed over to Xu Jinbiao from Yilan Prison. This move comes amidst intense competition and clandestine maneuvering due to several retirement-age chief officials in large prisons like Taipei and Taichung. To avoid interference, the personnel list was only released on July 4, with many high-profile officials being reassigned to different positions effective July 16.
