Taipei's private Dongshan High School Junior High planned to enroll 630 students but accidentally accepted 142 extra students, leading to frustration among parents. The school offered a compensation of 20,000 NT dollars and assistance in transferring students to their original district schools. The Taipei education bureau will discuss the issue of illegal over-enrollment and impose strict penalties on the school. Parents expressed anger over the last-minute notifications of acceptance and lack of responsibility shown by the school.
