Taipei prosecutors received reports that a certain company's general manager surnamed Chen allegedly leaked semiconductor chemical materials' trade secrets to the chairman surnamed Chen of Crystal Technology in 2021, violating the Criminal Code on breach of trust and disclosure of industrial secrets, as well as the Trade Secrets Act. Yesterday, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office commanded the Criminal Investigation Bureau to conduct searches and summoned two men surnamed Chen for questioning, with each posting 400,000 NTD bail. Crystal Technology announced that the investigation had no impact on its financial operations, assuring full cooperation with the authorities.
