Due to landslides and flooding on the tracks caused by heavy rain, the Taiwan Railways Chongde-to-Wuren section was temporarily shut down, with efforts to clear the tracks allowing single-track two-way traffic in the early morning. However, the Su-Hua Highway faced challenges with over 38 vehicles stranded due to landslides, and the road closure was prolonged to the next afternoon due to continuing rainfall and difficulty in clearing debris. Both the railway and highway authorities are working to resolve the issues caused by the natural disasters.
