A serious car accident occurred in Taichung City's Nantun District in the early hours of the morning, when a 28-year-old man named Chen, who had just left his girlfriend's house, ran a red light at the intersection of Wenxin Road and Wuquan West Road and collided with a 46-year-old man named Wang who was waiting at the red light zone. Wang was hit and flown 5 meters away, resulting in severe internal bleeding and his current condition is critical in the intensive care unit at Chung Shan Medical University Hospital. Chen immediately stopped to check on Wang, while bystanders reported the incident to the police. Further investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
