After receiving reports of water quality issues in drinking fountains at Taipei-Taoyuan Metro, the company suspended the use of all fountains at stations and within its premises without specifying the cause. Following complaints of flawed water quality sampling conducted by maintenance vendors, the company has now taken measures to replace drinking fountains at all stations and ensure safe drinking water for the public. The replacement of filters in all fountains has been completed, except at Taipei Main Station, providing a safer drinking water service for passengers.
