Taipei Tianmu Shocking Stabbing Incident: Man with Tattoos Unsatisfied, Attacks Taxi Driver with Samurai Sword for Refusing Ride, Causing Injury

In Taipei's Tianmu on the morning of June 23, 2024, a 33-year-old man surnamed Zhang, who was refused service by two taxi drivers, proceeded to brandish a samurai sword and violently attack, causing a back injury to one driver. Police arrested Zhang and are processing according to the law. Zhang, covered in tattoos, got into a conflict with the drivers, who were unwilling to take the seemingly emotionally charged man. He then resorted to unsheathing a short samurai sword, damaging two taxis and injuring one person, leading to his arrest and investigation for offenses including attempted murder, intimidation, and property damage.
