On the evening of June 10, a volunteer soldier surnamed Huang at the Taitung Division of the Taiwan Coast Guard reportedly shouted and collapsed while showering in his dormitory around 7:30 PM. Colleagues conducted CPR, and he was rushed to Taitung Mackay Memorial Hospital where he regained a heartbeat but had a suspected electric injury on his chest. The hospital mentioned he is now breathing with a heartbeat and under observation. The exact cause is still being investigated.
