On June 24, 2024, Kuomintang Taoyuan city councilor Zhu Zhenyao celebrated Police Day by having her assistant design a chibi pigeon police officer as a giveaway to the public. However, the design style and appearance closely resembled the work of renowned police illustrator Popo Pigeon, raising suspicions of plagiarism.
