Taiwan's CPC Corporation announced a decrease of 0.2 NTD in gasoline and diesel prices starting from July 1st, with reference prices for 92 octane unleaded at 28.9 NTD per liter and 95 octane unleaded at 30.4 NTD per liter. Due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and slight international oil price increases, CPC adjust prices accordingly. The adjustment follows the activation of the dual-stabilization mechanism where gasoline and diesel absorb 3.5 and 4.9 NTD increase respectively, despite actual price drop of 0.2 NTD per liter for both fuels.
