According to FTNN News, Taiwan's Economic Affairs Minister Ku Chung-Hui proposed importing migrant workers to address the manpower shortage issue at Taiwan Power Company and improve power supply reliability. However, legislators, such as Kuang-Kung Yang of the Kuomintang party, criticized the government for constantly changing reasons for power outages and criticized the lack of concrete solutions. Yang emphasized the need for the government to provide detailed statistics and policy evaluations on energy policies and power supply demands to address public concerns.
