Taiwanese esports team Ban Mei Gaming (BMG) achieved a significant milestone by winning the world championship in Arena of Valor Pro League in Bangkok, Thailand. The team, financially supported by a livestreamer with an annual revenue exceeding NT$1.5 billion, started from last place in their debut but eventually claimed victory in the competition, earning NT$16.3 million in prize money. This victory marks their first international competition and reinstates Taiwan as a strong force in the gaming community.
