According to Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation data, the number of Taiwan ETF beneficiaries increased by 139,000 in the past week, surpassing a total of 8.7 million, setting a record high for 18 consecutive weeks. Among the top gainers in terms of beneficiaries last week, Fubon Taiwan Select High Dividend ETF (00919) saw a weekly increase of 30,000 investors. Market experts suggest that high-dividend ETFs in Taiwan, with their lower volatility compared to individual stocks and the market index, are good choices for long-term investors, especially when purchased at opportune lower prices post-dividend distribution.
