In Ximending, Taipei, around 14,569 households were affected by an equipment issue, leading to speculations of power shortage which Taipower refuted, clarifying that both incidents were equipment-related and quickly resolved, with Ximending seeing power restored within a minute. Taipower assures that the outages were not due to power shortage but equipment malfunctions and pledges to enhance equipment maintenance to prevent inconveniences in the future.
