Taiwan Facing High Sea Temperatures as Zheng Mingdian Points Out Failure in Sea Breeze Regulation

Reported about 1 year ago

Not only is the land experiencing sweltering heat, but the sea breeze regulation is also failing! Former director of the Central Weather Bureau, Zheng Mingdian, shared data on June 30th showing that sea temperatures around Taiwan are 2 to 3 degrees higher than usual, indicating a decrease in sea breeze regulation efficiency. Along with the strong Pacific high-pressure system leading to clear skies and weak winds, the weather has become unusually hot. UV levels are also at dangerous levels, urging people to avoid working under the sun. Many areas are experiencing dangerous UV levels.
