As the domestic epidemic escalates, leading to many people being infected with COVID-19, influenza, and enterovirus, emergency room doctor Tian Zhi-xue warns that there is a severe shortage of nurses throughout Taiwan, with some hospital wards lacking nursing staff. This has resulted in a situation where critically ill patients are facing difficulties in finding a bed. Tian advises the public to take protective measures, such as wearing masks and frequent hand washing, to prevent the spread of the viruses.
