Taiwan Fertilizer Corporation and Danish CIP Sign Agreement to Collaborate on Clean Energy

Taiwan Fertilizer Corporation (Taiwan Fertilizer) recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) from Denmark to advance clean energy initiatives, specifically in the development of ammonia energy. With Taiwan Fertilizer's expertise in ammonia supply and commitment to President Tsai Ing-wen's energy transition policy, the collaboration aims to promote clean energy projects, establish a global ammonia supply chain platform, expand semiconductor materials, and transition to eco-friendly fertilizers. This strategic partnership with CIP focuses on constructing clean energy projects such as local production, import, storage, transportation, and applications of low-carbon ammonia, promoting progress towards becoming a key supplier of clean energy. CIP, known for its diverse Power to X projects, is excited to work with Taiwan Fertilizer in achieving Taiwan's net zero emissions goal for 2050 by combining CIP's hydrogen energy project experience with Taiwan Fertilizer's leading ammonia supply chain capabilities.
