Central Weather Bureau in Taiwan has issued special advisories due to the continuing impact of southwest winds, leading to short periods of heavy rain in six counties and cities, as well as heatwave alerts in four areas. The high temperatures are expected to continue over the weekend with a likelihood of thunderstorms and rain in specific regions, while precautions are advised against landslides and flash floods in mountainous regions due to the recent softening of the soil. Temperatures are forecasted to reach up to 36 degrees Celsius in certain areas, urging the public to stay hydrated and protected from the scorching weather.
