Taiwan Futures: Foreign Investors Reduce Short Positions

Taiwan's futures market rose by 439 points on June 19, closing at 23,225 points with positive spreads in various sectors. Foreign investors reduced their net short positions by 1,342 contracts to 11,596 contracts, while specific institutional investors decreased their net short positions by 7,425 contracts. Options open interest saw changes with a bearish bias and the overall market remained bullish with strong performances from electronic stocks like TSMC, UMC, and others contributing significantly to the index rise.
